Wreaths Across America

Wraeth Placement Los Angeles National Cemetery

This year the Sons of Liberty Chapter, in support of Wreaths Across America, has set a goal of sponsoring 100 wreaths for placement at the Los Angeles National Cemetery on December 15.  This is a very modest goal, and, with your help, we hope to exceed it.

Wreaths Across America : Honor a Vet

Every December, Wreaths across America organizes wreath-laying events at almost 800 participating locations around the nation.  These include Arlington National cemetery, and, closer to us, Los Angeles National Cemetery.  Donated wreaths, which last year totaled over 90,000, are delivered to national veterans cemeteries where thousands of volunteers take a quiet moment to show their gratitude and appreciation during the holiday season.

Sponsoring a wreath, only $15, is a way to honor the memory of a veteran, and to remind everyone of the sacrifices made over many generations to secure the liberty we often take for granted.

The Sons of Liberty will combine all donations received, and present them to Captain John Doyle, USAF, Location Leader for The Los Angeles National Cemetery.  Please make your donations prior to November 17.  We will update this page with the results, so be sure to check back.
