Wreaths Across America Planting of Flags

We’ll perform the “planting” of miniature U.S. flags on Friday, December 18th beginning at noon at Mountain View Cemetery.  To date, SAR and DAR have nearly 700 wreaths sponsored.  We’ll plant the flags throughout the cemetery in hopes that we cover veterans who may have never received wreaths in previous years.  I will provide veteran grave listings and a map for each section.  Planting the flags is a difficult task, but marking the veteran graves with flags makes the placement of wreaths so much easier on Saturday morning.
