DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThe Sons of Liberty Chapter will hold an IN PERSON General Membership Meeting.\n\n\n\nPlease join us on Saturday, May 17th at 12 noon until 2:00\nGet MORE out of YOUR SAR\n\nWant to benefit more from your SAR membership? Want to participate more in SAR activities? Including medals and possible cash prizes and scholarships for young people?\nThis meeting will let you know how!\nBring your significant other, wife, girlfriend, kids, neighbors!\nThis May Meeting is an SAR America 250 event. Attendance means you earn points towards an SAR America 250 Medal you can wear with pride! Don’t know what an America 250 Medal is or how to earn one? We’ll cover that!\nWe will give updates on recent chapter activities, cooperation with local DAR and CAR chapters, a quick outline of SAR Regalia and medals and Challenge Coins.\n\nThe Sons of Liberty Chapter will even present a veteran compatriot with an SAR Military medal! Be present and learn how other veteran members can also obtain an SAR military medal!\n\nMembers are invited to present their own America 250 Minute and earn points towards an SAR America 250 medal! An America 250 Minute means you present a topic from 1764-1783 concerning the Revolutionary War, of one minute in duration. Short and Sweet, and we can do several at any meeting. Questions, shoot us an email and we’ll help out.\nUpdate on the newly developing Liberty Tree Project!\nLearn about Community Medals that can be presented by State, and Patriots that lived and died in California!\nLearn about SAR University, video modules online to inform you of even more!\nYouth programs nationwide available for your children and youth or young people you know! Cash prizes and scholarships are available!\nA Youth Video Contest for next school year!\n\nChapter President Mark Cross attended the CA State SAR Membership meeting in April. He will give a PowerPoint presentation on the many opportunities to learn more about being a modern Patriot, getting more out of your SAR!\n\n\n\nWe are back at the Tam! The Tam O’Shanter has been a regular meeting place for Sons of Liberty Chapter SAR for years, and we are pleased to return to the Tam!\n\nThe more people present, the better! Make plans to attend our regular meeting at the Tam!\nThere is no official dress code, but most of our members wear a coat and tie to attend our General Membership Meetings. If you’d like to buy an official SAR tie, speak with our Treasurer at our next meeting!\nFor questions, contact us.
